Dear 7th & 8th grade students and families,
Welcome back to your final year at Trinidad School. It’s sure to be an unforgettable experience with all the fun activities and adventures like: the backpacking trip, 8th grade trip to Ashland, 7th grade aquatics camp, Halloween carnival, after school sports, marine studies, and of course . . . the 8th grade graduation!
A lot of new changes are happening this school year. First off, Ms. Cunningham and I are splitting the teaching load of the four main academic courses, which means she will be teaching math and social studies for both 7th and 8th and I will be teaching language arts and science. She will still be taking on PE and I will still teach tech skills. Spanish will be offered using the Duo Lingo app twice weekly in both 7th and 8th. We also have a new school wide intercom and bell system that will ring at the beginning and end of each class period. Notice that our weekly schedule has slightly changed to better accommodate instructional minutes. A required 7 & 8 combined music class is also in the mix this year.

School starts on Monday August 26 at 8:50. Don’t forget that every Monday school ends at 2:10.
