Welcome, Dragons!

We would like to welcome back returning families and extend a warm welcome to new families joining our community this year. We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, friendships, community, and growth.
It has been a busy summer here on campus with Dragon Day Camp, and our summer crew has been hard at work deep cleaning, painting, and landscaping to get the campus ready for the new school year.

Teachers are preparing their classrooms for the new year and are excited to meet their new classes.

The first day of school is Monday, August 24. 

New Staff

This year brings many new staff faces to campus, and you'll see some familiar faces in new places.
  • Cedric Latreille joins us as our new technology director.
  • Patsy Vaquera-Curriel is moving from first grade aide to our new after school director.
  • In addition to returning as our TK teacher, Heather Miner will be joining the middle school team in the afternoons as the English language arts teacher.
  • Aria Soberanis, Ariana Cooke, Aiden Lovett, and Kali Bernards, Sean Smith, and Quincy Stokes will all join our classroom and after school support staff.
  • Congratulations to Denise Dolan as she moves to her new position overseeing the after school programs of a larger district in Manteca! She will be missed, but we wish her all the best.

We're Hiring

We are looking for a few more staff members to round out our team! If you know someone who would make a great addition, please encourage them to contact the office.
  • Afternoon/evening custodian (4 hours per day, starting after 2:30)
  • Afternoon receptionist (3 hours per day, 12:30 - 3:30)
  • Two classroom aides (4 hours per day, 8:50 - 12:50)

Transportation

Trinidad School will not have an after school bus route this year. We will continue to provide after school care for all students until 6:00pm.

Breakfast and Lunch

All students will continue to receive free breakfast and lunch, regardless of income. Breakfast is served each morning in the cafeteria during the students' morning recess time. 
Although meals are free, PLEASE help us maintain our funding by filling out the Household Income Form online. You will get a link to this in a separate post. The information from this form is what determines our eligibility for many federal and state programs.

Dragon's Lair After School Program

Trinidad School will continue to offer our Dragon's Lair After School Enrichment program. We provide care for students from dismissal until 6:00 pm. Register your child online HERE.

Trinidad School Education Foundation

Join us for an Adults Only (age 21+) event to sing + dance along to some of your favorite tunes from The Undercovers with special guest Green Genes! All proceeds from the event will go to directly support the Trinidad School Education Foundation for the 2026-2027 school year.

Date = October 2nd
Time = Doors @ 6pm | Show Starts @ 6:30pm
Location = Trinidad Town Hall 
Tickets = starting at $20
Beer, Wine, Nonalcholic drinks + small bites will be available for purchase.
This event is strictly for ages 21+ only. Childcare will not be available at this event. Please arrange childcare in advance.
